The architecture combines both art and science of designing buildings and (some) non-building structures. It is a profession that develops, designs, plans and manages the building and its surrounding context. Architecture is a rich discipline covering a diverse scope ranging from the design of various types of buildings within the urban, rural, community, ecological and regional areas. Architects serve not only as designers but they also help create buildings that respond to human habitation in diverse cultural and ecological contexts. Diploma in Landscape Architecture is suited for candidates who are interested to pursue their studies in a career within the design and construction industry.

Students will be exposed to the knowledge and skills required in planning, design and researches for areas such as housing, institutional, industrial, and commercial.

Local Admission

STPM

  • Pass with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in one (1) subject AND Pass Mathematics at SPM level; OR

SPM / SPMV

  • Pass with at least three (3) credits including Mathematics; OR

STAM

  • Pass with rank “Maqbul”; OR

Certificate

  • Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in three (3) subjects; OR
  • Obtained Certificate (MQF level 3) in the relevant field of Higher Education (PPT) which is recognized by Malaysian Government with 2.00 minimum CGPA; OR
  • Obtained Certificate in Vocational/Technical/Community College Certificate/Sijil Kemahiran (SKM level 3) with one (1) year of work experience in related field OR one (1) semester Bridging Program AND Pass SPM with at least one (1) credit; OR

Additional Requirement

  • Pass Pendidikan Seni/Lukisan Kejuteraan at SPM level; OR
  • Pass Interviews AND Portfolio Test by PPT for those fail or did not take Pendidikan Seni/Lukisan Kejuteraan subject at SPM level

Any equivalent qualification recognize by Malaysian Government

International Admission

The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at GEOMATIKA University College are as follows:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Band 3.0
TOEFL: Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) – Score 450

** For students who do not have the above English Qualification, they must undergo Geomatika College International’s English Program
