Admission Procedures

All International students are required to read the rules and guidelines to ensure all information is complete and accurate. International students are advised to read the requirement for admission carefully and ensure all information submitted is complete.

  1. Obtain the International Application Form from the GEOMATIKA University College, GEOMATIKA Agent that you can find at our International Student Office (INSO) or download it here
  2. Complete the form and attach the following documents:

New Applicants

  • Four (4) recent passport sized photographs (4cm x 5.5cm) with name and passport number written on the reverse side
  • Certified copies of your academic qualification(s) with a certified translated copy in English (if applicable)
  • One (1) full set of photocopy of your passport-include all pages, including blank pages.

(Your passport must have a validity period of at least 12 months ;)

  • Completed medical report form by a registered physician;
  • Initial payment inclusive of application fee, Student Visa and medical insurance

** RM 2,000.00 is required for new applicants for student visa processing

Transfer Students

  • Offer letter will be issued by GEOMATIKA International College;
  • Request for the following documents from the recent college/institution and ensure that all documents are CERTIFIED TRUE COPIES by the college/institution;
  1. Release Letter;
  2. Attendance record;
  3. Result slip or academic transcript or certificates;
  4. English translations of all documented submitted.

** RM 500.00 is required for registration fee

Successful applicants must make a payment of RM 2500 for Application and Visa Processing Fees. All cheques / bank drafts / T.T. should be made payable to:

NB: Please email or fax the remittance slip once the transaction is completed. Name of applicant, I/C or passport no. and the title of the chosen course should be written on the reverse side of the slip. Slip can be faxed to 603-4260 3559.

New International Applicants Applying within Malaysia (Transfer/Variant students) can pay in cash, payable at the Financial Services Cashier Counter, International Student Office (INSO), Geomatika University College, D-2-12 Setiawangsa Business Suite,Jalan Setiawangsa 11, Taman Setiawangsa, 54200, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

Renewal of Visa & Student Pass

All international students are required to apply for a Student Pass to study in Malaysia. The International Student Unit of the GEOMATIKA will apply Student Pass in Malaysia with the documents submitted along with the application form and the compulsory fee.

Existing students who wishes to extend their student visa/ pass are to adhere to the following;

  1. Student MUST submit their passport and all the required documents at least one month before the expiry of the Student Pass.
  2. Satisfy the course requirement by attending at least 80% of all your scheduled classes and achieve satisfactory academic performance. Failure to do so can result in losing your student pass status.
  3. Maintain a valid enrolment as your college. A letter of certification from Admission and Record Department needs to be attached with the extension application.
  4. Advise the Malaysian Immigration Department through the International Student Unit about change of address, travel within Malaysia, and withdraw from courses/college or if you wish to change your pass status.
