Bachelor of Science (Hons) Pharmacology – Pharmacology is an exciting branch of experimental science concerned with the action of drugs on living tissues and their components, with an emphasis on how drugs work. Bachelor of Science (Hons) Pharmacology focuses more on the research aspect of this science, teaching the student to investigate the effects of chemical compounds and to innovate ways of creating remedies to the many physical and mental ailments which affect people and animals.

This degree will give you a thorough understanding of pharmacology, an advanced knowledge of the design, mechanism of action, breakdown, and potential toxic effects of drugs used in the treatment of disease, as well as the design of new drugs. Local Admission


i. Pass Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) in Science Stream CGPA of 2.00 with Grade C in minimum two (2) subjects including one (1) science subject; OR
ii. Pass Diploma In Pharmacy (Level 4, MQF) with CGPA 2.00; OR
iii. Any other Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in Science with CGPA 2.50; OR
iv. Foundation in Science with CGPA 3.00; OR
v. Passed A-Level, Matriculation, Foundation or Pre-University programme with a minimum Grade C for three (3) subjects and B in minimum one (1) science subjects; OR
vi. Any equivalent qualifications that are recognized by the Malaysia Government.

International Admission


The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at University of GEOMATIKA Malaysia are as follows:

Achieve a minimum Band 3.5 in MUET OR equivalent to Common European Framework of reference for Languages (CEFR) High B1.

** For students who do not have the above English Qualification, they must undergo Geomatika’s English Program
