UGM Diploma in Medical and Health Sciences students, lecturers and clinical instructors have participated in the celebration of Medical Assistants Day 2023 held at the Ministry of Health Malaysia.
During the program, the Deputy Minister of Health, Lukanisman Awang Sauni stated that a total of 44,804 Assistant Medical Officers (PPP) are needed by 2025 based on the projected number of Malaysian population of 36 million people in that year.
Therefore, several engagement sessions were held between the PPP Services Branch and the Malaysian Medical Assistants Association with several public and private universities to open more first degree programs for PPP, he added.
Hopefully all Universiti Geomatika Malaysia Diploma in Medical and Health Sciences students will get a job after they graduate.
