The Diploma in Architecture is a foundational programme designed to introduce students to the principles, practices, and culture of the architectural profession. The programme equips students with essential knowledge in architectural design, drawing, building technology, materials, and construction methods, while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Through a balance of studio-based learning and theoretical subjects, students develop the ability to communicate design ideas using manual and digital techniques, including technical drawings, models, and basic computer-aided design. Emphasis is placed on understanding space, form, proportion, and the relationship between buildings, people, and the environment.

Students are also exposed to professional ethics, teamwork, and project coordination to prepare them for real-world practice. By the end of the programme, graduates will possess strong fundamental skills to support architectural practice and the built environment industry. The diploma serves as a solid pathway for employment as architectural assistants or technical support staff, and provides a strong academic foundation for further studies in architecture or related built environment disciplines.
