Diploma in Mass CommunicationĀ offered by Geomatika is a program with focus on strengthening the skill in reporting, writing and production with relevant practical and professional education. A Diploma in Mass CommunicationĀ prepares the student to update the public on all types of news. Students in this program learn the basic skills of proper news reporting, including the interview process and segment writing. They also learn how to produce the news by managing video and audio equipment, locating sources, properly conducting interviews, writing scripts for TV or the radio, recording sound clips, and editing audio and video.

A Mass CommunicationĀ student also learns to work under pressure and handle deadlines. Students currently enrolled in school often opt to work at an on-campus digital marketing department; some complete an internship somewhere off-campus to gain working experience.

Third Year
- Industrial Training
Local Admission
i. Possesses an SPM qualification with a minimum of 3 credits in any subjects, including English Language; OR
ii. Possesses an O-Level qualification with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects, including English Language; OR
iv. Possesses a Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in any subject and a credit in English Language at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR
v. Possesses a Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum of Grade Maqbul and a credit in English Language at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR
vi. Possesses SKM Level 3 and is required to take the Pengukuhan Program Module in English, which is offered in the early semester; OR
vii. Possesses a Certificate or its equivalent and has achieved a minimum of a credit in English Language at the SPM level or its equivalent; OR
viii. Possesses a Media dan Komunikasi (MQF) qualification or its equivalent; OR
ix. Passes the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with a minimum of Grade C in 3 subjects, including English Language; OR
x. Pass APEL.A (T4)
Note:
Any certificate recognized by the Malaysian Government is acceptable.
Credit in English Language at the SPM level for candidates (ii), (iii), (iv), and (v) may be exempted if their qualification includes English Language with an achievement equivalent to or higher than the SPM credit requirement.
International Admission
The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at University of GEOMATIKA Malaysia are as follows:
