Diploma in Medical & Health Science previously known as Diploma in Medical Assistant program prepares the candidates in basic medical science and professional modules such as medicine, emergency medicine, surgery, public health, pharmacology, behavioral sciences, nursing and college elective modules. Diploma in Medical & Health Science is specifically designed to develop students with a strong foundation and skills to face the changing world of medical. This program provide the students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude to be a Medical Assistant or Assistant Medical Officer. Upon completing the program, the graduates would be able to understand, diagnose, and treat simple ailments, as well as caring and curing in wellness and disease.
Student will experience learning in the classroom in the form of tutorials, lectures, practical sessions, hands-on activities that stimulate intellectual discourse, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning combined with student training via clinical placements within our healthcare organizations to enhance the clinical knowledge, competencies and skills in major areas of medical, surgical emergency, traumas and many others. This program is approved by both the Malaysian Qualification Agency and the Malaysian of Higher Education. Our program enables students to achieve their dreams to work in a healthcare setting in both the government and private sector. Hospital training which links the students directly to the industry are the added features of this program, giving them the opportunity to experience a practical hands-on approach.

Local Admission
Pass SPM or its equivalent with a minimum of five (5) credits in the following subjects;
- Bahasa Melayu / Bahasa Malaysia
- Science Subjects
- Biology or Chemistry; OR
- Physics with a pass in Biology; OR
- Science / General Science / Applied Science (to be verified)
- Mathematics
- Mathematics; OR
- Additional Mathematics
- Two (2) credits from any other subjects; AND
- Pass in English
Any equivalent qualification recognized by the Malaysian Government
International Admission
GCE O-Level or equivalent with five (5) credits in the following subjects:
- Two (2) from science or Mathematics subject (Biology / Physics / Chemistry / General Science); AND
- Three (3) from any other subjects; AND
- Pass in English; OR
- Candidates with other relevant qualifications are subject to approval by the MAB
- Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or its equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits as in para 3.1.2 and 3.1.3; OR
- Candidates with other relevant qualifications are subject to approval by the MAB
Students must be certified medically fit by a registered medical practitioner recognized by the recruiting HEPs. Students must be free from:
- Mental illness
- Physical and sensory disability
- HIV-AIDS
- Hepatitis B and C
- Epilepsy
- Drug addiction and substance abuse
- Any other medical conditions certified unfit for the programme by a registered medical practitioner
- Biology or Chemistry; OR
- Physics with a pass in Biology; OR Science / General Science / Applied Science (to be verified)
- Mathematics
- Mathematics; OR
- Additional Mathematics
- Two (2) credits from any other subjects; AND
- Pass in English
- Governments Agency such as Ministry Of Health
