Pharmacy is the art and science of dispensing medicines which involves preparation and formulation of drugs and also educating the public about medicine. Pharmacy is the health profession that links the health sciences with the chemical sciences, and it is responsible for ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs.

According to the Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society, the ratio of pharmacist to a patient in the year 2010 is 1:4700. This shows that the country is still faced with a shortage of pharmacy support staff in the hospital, clinics, and public health services.

Local Admission

SPM
Pass SPM / SPMV with at least credits in three (3) subjects including Mathematics or Science and pass Malay; OR
STAM
Passed STAM rank Maqbul; OR
O – Level
Pass O-Level with at least grade C in three (3) subjects including Mathematics or Science; OR
Unified Examination Certificate (UEC)
Pass UEC with at least Grade B in three (3) subjects including Mathematics or Science; OR
STPM
Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in one (1) subject; OR
Certificates
Pass a Certificate (MQF Level 3) in a related field from a Higher Education Provider (PPT) recognized by the Malaysian Government with a minimum GPA of 2.00; OR
Pass Vocational/Technical Certificate/Community College Certificate / SKM Level 3 in a related field and pass SPM with at least one (1) credit; OR

Any equivalent qualification recognized by Malaysian Government

International Admission

The English Language Entry Requirement for International Student at University of GEOMATIKA Malaysia are as follows:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Band 5.5
TOEFL: Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) – Score 450

** For students who do not have the above English Qualification, they must undergo Geomatika’s English Program
