A group of Sarawakian students from University of Geomatika Malaysia (UGM) proudly participated in the Special Financial Aid (Bantuan Kewangan Khas, BKK) program, a valuable initiative by the Sarawak State Government aimed at supporting the educational pursuits of Sarawakian youth.
The event, held at the prestigious Grand Hyatt in Kuala Lumpur, brought together students from various institutions to receive direct financial support while also connecting with key figures from the Sarawak state leadership. For UGM students, this was more than a financial boost — it was a motivating experience that highlighted the government’s ongoing commitment to education and youth empowerment.
This special aid is part of Sarawak’s broader agenda to invest in human capital and ensure that students from the state, regardless of where they study, are not left behind. By easing financial burdens, the initiative encourages students to stay focused on their academic goals and contribute back to their communities.
