Entry Requirement
Local Admission
i. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 accepted by the Senate; OR
ii. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a internal interview assessment; OR
iii. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and with relevant working experience*, subject to a internal interview assessment;
iv. A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 3.00 as accepted by the HEP Senate and without relevant working experience, subject to a internal interview assessment**
v. Other equivalent/related qualifications to a Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) recognised by the Malaysian Government; OR
vi. Pass APEL A-T7 Assessment in Business
International Admission
Achieve a minimum Band 4 in MUET OR equivalent to CEFR (Mid B2)
Notes:
* Experience can be cumulative experience even before acquiring required qualification for a particular level of study. However, the experience must be relevant to the level of study as well as the content.
** If a learner fails the internal interview assessment, the learner can still join the program, subject to passing the prerequisite course:
i. Principles of Management
ii. Principles of Marketing
iii Financial Management
iv. Human Resource Management
Pre-requisite courses may be taken at Universiti Geomatika Malaysia or through Micro-Credential, MOOC, Short Course, or CPD platforms such as Coursera, OpenLearning, and others. Candidates must provide evidence.
