August 7, 2026 -Congratulations to the 90% of UGM educators who officially achieved the Gemini Educator Certification through the Gemini AI & Learning Content Sharing Session.
The training sharing session conducted by Hal Ehwal Akademik, TVET & Industri (HEATI) and Faculty of AI & Meta Technology (FAMET), provided valuable insights into leveraging Gemini AI to advance and expand practical AI applications in higher education teaching and learning.
This initiative builds on UGM’s commitment to strengthening AI literacy among educators to create more effective learning content, while fostering innovation and digital transformation across the university.
During the training, educators also achieved two other certifications, demonstrating their comprehensive Google ecosystem digital proficiency:
🏆 Google Certified Educator Level 1 (88.10%)
🏆 Google Certified Educator Level 2 (66.67%)
With an impressive 64.29% of participants mastering all three exams to earn triple certification, UGM educators have shown exceptional capability across every level of digital competency.
