About RIC
RIC is one of department that is responsible in managing research, innovation and commercialization at Universiti Geomatika Malaysia (UGM). RIC is strive to engage with communities and industries to reflect the recognitions UGM as full fledge university. RIC is a dynamic hub dedicated to advancing knowledge of research, fostering innovation, and facilitating the transformation of intellectual capital into tangible products and services. Established in 2022, RIC has evolved as a crucial component of our university’s commitment to excellence in research and its practical applications.
Mission
RIC’s primary mission is to enhance the impact of the university’s research output by promoting innovation and facilitating the commercialization of intellectual property. We aim to bridge the gap between academia and industry, ensuring that the knowledge generated within our university contributes to societal progress and economic development.
