Students from the University of Geomatika Malaysia (UGM) took part in the ‘Rakan Muda Rakan Prihatin: Mobilisasi Skuad Sukarelawan Anak Malaysia (SATRIA) 2025’ programme, held at D Rimbun Inn, Sekinchan, on 2–3 August 2025.
The two-day, one-night programme was designed to:
Instill humanitarian values among youth.
Strengthen social responsibility.
Support community welfare initiatives through volunteerism.
Organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in collaboration with UGM, SATRIA 2025 mobilized young volunteers to actively contribute to the well-being of local communities.
Through this initiative, UGM students gained hands-on experience in community engagement, reflecting the university’s commitment to developing graduates who are socially conscious and ready to serve the nation.
